Have you ever wanted to have a contact list that was easy to access and update? Well, now you can (hehe). I have added a feature to JAJ to provide a contact list.

- Each user has their own private contact list

- Birthdays can be recorded for each contact

- A 100% guarantee that no-one but you will EVER see any item on the list

- The list, being web based, is accessible from almost anywhere

- Each contact can have an arbitrary number of phone numbers and email addresses

- The list, like the rest of JAJ, is backed up regularly

Features in the works:

- Reminders sent to you about birthdays

- A "notes" section for whatever extras you need

The only requirement to access your private contact list is an account here. Pretty much anyone reading this probably already has one. Let me know if you need login assistance.

There are currently some issues with the internet connection which connects this server to the world. Connectivity is still there, it is just very sloooooooow. This will hopefully be resolved quickly. I will post another quick note once it is back to normal.

We got some intense rain over the last 12 hours. The new photo album on the right shows a bit of the highlight reel. Believe it or not, I saw a couple cars drive through that mess while it was still rising this morning. Another minute, maybe two, and I would have had a few nice shots of some floating cars since it went from ankle deep to almost waist deep in about 5 minutes.

Crazy stuff.

I know it is not quite summer yet (I call this color scheme "Summer"), but I'll be heading out on vacation in a few days and I just feel a bit summery (is that a word?) right now.

I have added a "Recent" folder to the top level of the music archive. This is managed automagically by the server so that anytime I add or change albums or songs they will be linked in. Anything less than 31 days old will show up in this folder.

I have added another fail-safe backup to JAJ so that there should now be even less likelihood (basically non-existent) of losing any data in the event of some type of failure or compromise. Additionally, I can now recover any file that has been delete or changed for any day in the last three weeks, so if you need to get something back just let me know.

Spring is going well. The weather has been nice and I have been riding the motorcycle a bit already. I didn't ride much (at all?) last year and I was jonesing for some bike-time.

I've been bouncing around a bit lately. On the right, you can see photo albums of "PenguinCon 2008" and "Dee Visits California". Good times there, for sure.

Enjoy the nice weather before mother nature starts swinging the "Steamy Summer Of Death" stick as she is wont to do.

I've never been the world's best at keeping these posts up to date. However, I don't get to speak with everyone I know that often and my friends and family actually do stop by here occasionally to see what's new.
